Movies About Aliens

Hi All,

What do you think about Hollywood's representation of Aliens invading Planet Earth??  I was just going through ATT, Guide, Sort for Movies, Sci-Fi -- and I saw a bunch of movies regarding Alien's invasion of Planet Earth....What do you think of that?  Do you think Aliens have human form? Do you think Aliens are on another dimension -- psychological? Invisible? 6th sense-mind-reading? What do you think is out there? How has Hollywood got it wrong??

Thanksgiving Week - Thankful for the Day

Hi All,

I spent the day with my children and parents.  My son is 16, and he is brilliant and engaged and heading off to some great college of engineering with his 4+ GPA and SAE design team at SDSU and San Onofre internship.  What about World War 3? I was watching the Nazi Collaborators today and realized that between the U.S. stock market crash of 1929, the Nazi regime didn't reach full power until a long 10 years later, 1939.  Will my son be drafted?  I've been thinking about the mothers who have sent their sons off to war. God bless them.  God bless them.  I love our great nation and I would take up arms to fight for our freedoms without thinking twice...but send my son??  It seems unholy.

I'm grateful for the men and women in the armed services.  Thank you for keeping us safe and putting yourself in harms way.  I worry about an administration that doesn't seem to like America very much and I wonder how my kids will fare in such a country where I have taken my freedom for granted for much of my life.

2012 The End of the Line?

The Occupy Wall Street crowd is getting violent. Some think the summer of 2012 is going to be the pinnacle of the growing riots in the U.S. along the order of a civil war.  Some believe that the aliens will stop us before we annihilate ourselves.  Will that be 12/12/12?

Markets crash in October.  It wasn't this last October, but with growing European instability, weakening global economics and the election of November 2012...it certainly seems like a giant baseball finger pointing the way to the end of 2012 being the "end" as we know it.

I am a banker.  A free market capitalist.  I have a degree in Biochemistry, and worked for Harvard Medical School back in the early 80s.  I didn't like killing rats much, so, I moved to San Francisco and fell into banking.  I've been a banker for 25  years, working with small business owners $1-65MM in revenue.  I am a single mom with 2 teenagers.  I live in a house with my kids and my 28-year-old niece who is very new-age-Trader-Joes.  I am a constitutionalist, a small government free market federalist.

I believe the Aliens are here.  I believe they are already involved with our politics.  And, at a time when our global politics and socio-economic structure is precarious, I want to talk about our contact with ETs and what it means to our daily life.

I just listened to Michael Salas talk about the government's openness to transparancy..don't really see that in Barak Obama.  I think he is THE WORST PRESIDENT EVER...but, nonetheless, I wonder what the state of our great planet is?

I was the director of the youth program at a Religious Science church in Encinitas, CA.  I sway toward the spiritual and new age thought, but I am a practical free market believer.  I work with entreprenuers, American self-reliance, ingenuity, Thomas Jefferson Republican.  Finding it difficult to connect with folks who are PRACTICAL.  I need no-nonesense discussion about life, future and family.  Science-based means I am looking for evidence.  Read Brian Greene's Elegant Universe and Michael Talbot's Halographic Univese.
